The MERKUR 34 INOX razor series is also known among fans as ‘’HD’’, short for Heavy Duty. The razor earned this nickname in the 1980s due to its weight. The 34 INOX, made of satin-finished stainless steel, is also sophisticated: Few other safety razors can match the smooth and gentle results offered by this classic. In the MERKUR 1896 special edition, the razor comes with a leather case and razor blades in a gift box.
A safety razor with a closed comb is the all-rounder for classic wet shaving. You can intuitively feel the best angle of attack for the razor and immediately achieve ideal shaving results. The generous blade gap allows soap and hair to run off, for good cleaning and a hygienic shave. The 34 INOX takes any standard double edge blade, and you will find matching razor blades for the 34 INOX in packs of 10 and 100.
